Weather conditions favor South Africa then England to host IPL 2 matches. IPL this year started on April 18th which has been shortened to five weeks. Second edition of the 20-20 league will be held in six venues ,confirmed by Lalit Modi and Cricket South Africa(CSA) Chief in a press conference. The reason for South Africa over England is , weather condition is not favorable in UK . Modi said it will be expensive for the team owners but IPL has decided to bear the cost difference. Though it is expensive, the decision has made without considering it . IPL team would cover the differential in loss the club owners will incur.CSA Chief said , they are happy to host 2009 DLF Indian Premier League tournament. Moreover this would be definitely great for the South Africa economy. At last IPL 2 season will going to strike it for sure after many hurdles it faced. Jai Ho to IPL team .
